2.2.3 Walk the talk on sustainability policy

At euforia we strive to walk the talk on sustainable development. We want to show that it IS possible to act and live sustainably, also during events and trainings. That is why we have put into place a "WALK THE TALK ON SUSTAINABILITY POLICY" that you can read (only for employees). We share the policy with all our volunteers ( and for imp!acts), interns and staff. It is important that everyone respects and loves it :) let's try to minimise the oopses in this field!

Obviously this policy is neither perfect nor a proclamation of an absolute truth. There are many ways of living sustainably, this is just one path that we have decided to walk at euforia.

Travelling for euforia related activities

For clients or external guest / speakers

So if you don't want to end up famous as a horror story in this guidebook, please please PLEASE share our Walk the talk policy and its spirit widely!

You need to provide information on your daily trips to work, international trains, flights and car trips. Please always keep updated with the information on your international train trips, car trips and flight (each as a sheet)(only accessible to employee)

When you start working with someone external to euforia, whether it's a new client, an outside expert or guest speaker, we invite you to be EXTREMELY conscious of our sustainability policy (). Ideally, they should be sent to them and explained kindly. euforia doesn't force its clients to follow these guidelines, but they are 1) a good way to raise awareness on all the things it's possible to do 2) good publicity for us (showing that we are authentic in our values) and 3) a good way of explaining why some things are not acceptable to euforia (for example, paying for the plane ticket and taxi fare of a guest speaker coming for 2 hours at one of our events... yes we are ashamed to say that this actually happened...).
