2.2.1 Before your first day

Before you start working officially at euforia, you will receive an invitation for your introduction session with the HR Procedure role and your Integration Coach, which will be held in your first days of work. However, we've heard that our 1-2 hours long welcome intro sessions were a bit overwhelmingly full of information, literally filled with hundreds of stuff, that you REALLY need to remember but you obviously will not. So we decided to send the information before the intro session for you to read (yes, this guidebook. What do you mean it's long? No, no, it's just generous :). This way, at the intro session you can come with your questions and focus only on the stuff that you didn’t understand.

The other key document for your integration is the Welcome checklist (only aceessible to employee), which contains various checklists (DUH) of all the things you, our HR Procedure Role & your integration coach (and perhaps some other people) need to do to successfully welcome and integrate you.

In case it wasn't clear yet, your integration coach and the HR Procedure role-person are quite important to your integration at euforia, so dont hesitate to be overly kind to them ;-P

What to do before you arrive?

Have the following documents ready for your intro session with the HR Procedure Role:

  • copy of AVS card

  • copy of ID

  • copy of Bank card

  • fill in the employee personal form (only accessible to employee)

  • pension plan form (Nest LPP)

  • your contract: if you want to get payed you have to read, understand, agree, look serious and emotional at the same time and sign without shaking! DRINK CHAMPAGNE TO CELEBRATE!

  • fill in the euforia charter: the aim of this document stating that you adhere to euforia’s values and that you will allow us to create an @euforia.org email address for you. All our volunteers & staff have to sign it in order to be part of euforia (we don’t mess with euforia’s values).
